C - Vitamin (Ascobic Acid)

 Vitamin C (ascorbic acid)
plays an important role in the maintenance of the connective tissue in skin, ligaments and bone.

Vitamin C is active throughout the body. It helps strengthen the capillaries (the tiniest blood vessels) and cell walls and is crucial for the formation of collagen (a protein found in connective tissue).

Vitamin C prevents bruising, promotes healing, and keeps ligaments (which connect muscle to bone) and tendons (which connect bone to bone) healthy. It also keeps the gums strong and healthy, aids in producing hemoglobin in red blood cells and assists the body in absorbing iron from foods.

Common uses include enhancing immuntiy, minimizing cold symptoms or shortening duration, speeds wound healing, treats asthma, prevents cataracts, and protects against some forms of cancer and heart disease.
