is known as the "anti-emotional and physical stress" substance. It is involved in the metabolism of fats (the subsequent lowering of serum cholesterol levels and imporving lipid metabolism), carbohydrates and proteins; and the synthesis of hormones, bile, and hemoglobin. This nutrient stimulates growth in all of these areas.
It promotes a health central nervous system. Nerve transmissions are dependent on the production of hormones that control our reactions to emotional and physical stress, the fight of flight response and to resist stress in general.
It also improves our ability to heal, decrease swelling and increase joint mobility. This nutrient also has a role in our system of defense within our immune system and to decrease the possibility of an autoimmune disorders. It works best in the presence of Biotin. It may improve conditions of chronic fatigue syndrome, migraines, heartburn and allergies.
You will find pantothenate in eggs, potatoes, saltwater fish, pork, beef, milk, whole wheat, peas, beans and fresh vegetables.
