We indicated that in the next article we would explain specific ingredients that make our Bone Joint and Muscle formula work for you.
The ingredients in Bone Joint and Muscle are designed to help in the nutritional aspects of those structures we have just reviewed in the previous article. They are:
Vitamin A is essential for vision, dental development growth, hydrocortisone synthesis, epithelial tissue differentiation, embryonic development, and reproduction. Vitamin A is also required for maintenance of the mucous membranes of the eyes, skin, mouth, gastrointestinal tract, and the genitourinary tract. Since is improves dental structure, there is a correlation with bone and cartilage development.
The B Vitamins are essential for cell replication, maintenance, metabolism of proteins, fatty acids and carbohydrates, maintenance of normal growth, transmission of nerve impulses, production of blood cells and nucleic acids; myelin sheaths and acetylcholine synthesis. They also function with enzymes, amino acids and in many oxidation-reduction reactions. The B Vitamins assist in the development of the nervous system, which is important as well as the building of bones, joints and muscles to maturity.
The Flavonoids or Vitamin P have antiviral, anti-carcinogenic, anti-inflammatory, antihistamine and antioxidant activities. Some reports show that they are used successfully in the treatment of osteoporosis.
Vitamin C has been associated with the maintenance of connective tissue, skin, ligaments, bone and other tissues of the body. Many formulas use this vitamin to initiate and continue to assist in the formation and maintenance of body structures.
Glucosamine is not a vitamin, but it has been shown to initiates the development of stronger bones, tendons and ligaments. It also reduces the pain linked with degenerative disease conditions.
