This formula is designed to give a boost to two important growth areas of the body and to give general maintenance in other areas. The musculoskeletal system consists of the bony skeleton of the body and the muscles that are attached to these bones. This formula also gives support to the tendons, ligaments, various connective tissues and the skin (usually not considered part of this system). These structures give our bodies strength, support and flexibility; and allow us to move from one place to another in a miraculous way. As we age, these structures tend to degenerate due to the inadequate supply of nutrients and minerals for various reasons to keep up body maintenance. Two major problems causing inadequate nutrition from the foods we currently eat are: 1) The body’s decreased ability to absorb nutrients, and 2) The possibility of a decrease in the amount of nutrients available in our food. Other possibilities could include metabolic or hormonal problems, injury, infection, fractures, genetic disorders, tumors, impaired blood and oxygen supply or autoimmune disorders.
The use of materials for this formula were assembled to provide a wide range of nutrients and plant materials, so that the body can easily use these diverse resources to mature and speed up healing in the event of pain, injury, illness, or just due to aging. Any slow down of metabolic events or build up of toxins can cause physical pain. Pain is the body’s warning system that tells us we are not getting the things our body needs. The formulation of ingredients provides an even balance of resources for normal metabolic processes.
This formula contains some ingredients the government recognizes to assist each cell to function, but we have added certain plant materials to speed up the healing of bones, connective tissue, skin, and improve conditions that sustain the cells of the body. Plant material is only now beginning to be studied experimentally, but the future looks bright in this area.
