The property of minerals does convince scientist, that every living cell on this earth depends on minerals for proper function and structure. Minerals and water (also composed of the minerals hydrogen and oxygen) must be in the proper composition as body fluids to form blood, bones, teeth, nerves, connective tissue, muscles and all different tissues in the body. Minerals participate as coenzymes, which attach to protein enzymes, to facilitate chemical reactions throughout the body. Minerals also assist in the development of hormones. Minerals make up part of the genetic material DNA, help burn sugars, fats and carbohydrates. Minerals are involved in all the functions of the body.
All whole foods contain minerals, some more that others, because the soil where the plants grow determines the mineral content within the growing plants. If minerals are not in the soil, they will not be in the food we eat, and we will not be adequately nourished by that whole food. The magic of minerals is in the infinitesimal amounts of these substances that must be included in our diets every day.
Only the proper amounts of right mineral will promote and sustain life. Minerals are essential and each person has their own set of requirements. Minerals form the body architecture. When minerals are deficient, out of balance, or inadequately absorbed, the body manifests symptoms that resemble the damage caused by viruses or bacterial agents. These symptomatic conditions are manifest in common things such as allergies, diseases of immune system deficiencies, constipation, colitis, arthritis, diabetes, cancer, eczema, chronic fatigue syndrome, over weight, heart disease, emphysema, kidney problems, cardiovascular events (stroke, embolism, etc.), hair loss, indigestion, gastric reflux disease, fibromyalgia, bone loss, brittle nails, vision impairment, hearing loss and all sorts of common known maladies.
One conclusion is that minerals touch everything in life, so where can we get the minerals we need for optimal health? The best source of organic minerals is from whole foods grown in soil with the right amount of minerals the body needs. It is impossible to list all the food sources for all minerals, but it is possible to find the best sources for some of the major minerals and also some trace minerals, but that is another treatise that will not be discusses here. You must find what is right for your body.
The body is a complex system that needs many requirements, but the body must have food that includes minerals from the earth. The entire earth is composed of minerals, which is the only source you have to build your body. Isnt that enough to tell us that minerals are the important to all of us? The answer is a resounding, YES!!!! Your body is constantly working for you and without these minerals your body will die.
Remember, that if you give your body less minerals each day, you can die in increments. This is called the normal aging process. Incremental life is not the life you want to live. You need to have optimal health until the day you die. We all need the required amounts of all the minerals to have quality in our lives. Commit yourself to live with the proper minerals your diet from mother earth.
